The Monday Game #1: Sympathy for Mr. Devin

A comic book series about agency survival, ethical dilemmas, and the deals you never see coming.

What happens when the perfect client turns out to be the devil?

Not metaphorically. Actually.

This is the first instalment of The Monday Game, a comic series about the real decisions that happen inside a creative agency. The briefs nobody tweets about. The arguments behind closed doors. The all-nighters that aren't heroic, they're just necessary.

This one's for every founder who's ever looked at a client's budget and felt their ethics waver just a little.

The Characters

Kiri is the studio CEO. Warm, decisive, and commercially sharp. She keeps the lights on by making calls other people don't want to make. Her catchphrase is "Let's make it clear and get it done." She means both parts equally.

Jaxon is the Creative Director. Narratively instinctive, drily self-assured, and allergic to bad briefs. He'll hold a creative vision without arguing for it, right up until the brief is genuinely wrong. Then he argues.

Mr. Devin is the client. He arrived on a Monday with a briefcase full of cash, a red tie, and a smile that had already closed the deal before he sat down. He has a budget that would fund three months of runway. He doesn't like AI content. He pays on time.

He is also, as Jaxon will discover in slide three, the actual devil.

Why we made this

Infrairis exists for founders and operators who build things that matter and struggle to explain them clearly. The Monday Game is our way of telling stories about the creative and commercial reality of running an agency, in a format that's worth sharing.

Every episode will be honest. Some of them will be uncomfortable. All of them will be short enough to read between meetings.

If you run a startup and you're trying to figure out how to explain what you do without losing the room, it's a problem we work on with founders.

The Monday Game is a fictional comic series produced by Infrairis. All characters, figures, and scenarios — including any specific numbers or financial details — are invented for narrative purposes and do not reflect real cases or real agency financials. Mr. Devin, Kiri, and Jaxon are original brand characters. Any resemblance to actual clients, living or infernal, is entirely intentional and slightly flattering.
